I am Zach Larkin. I first became interested in politics following the disastrous 2000 election. I am running in 2032 (as a democrat) because I believe that as president I can make the world and country a better place.
Why me? Why should I be elected into the oval office?
Not because of Politics. Because of my Policies.
But in this world where the media hounds celebrities and candidates like wolves, policies are more often than not overshadowed by dirty politics and negative campaign ads.
This type of mudslinging has gone on for far too long, and far enough.
This type of mudslinging brings lopsided attention to the problems that divide us, instead of the solutions that unite us.
And this brand of divisive politics must be stopped.
Because America, society, and the world simply cannot survive or thrive divided.
We must no longer tolerate any divisions threatening us today.
Because the country was founded on the belief of Unity, "E Pluribus Unum", out of many, one.
When we have forgotten this idea of unity, we will no longer be the descendants of the revolution that introduced Democracy into modern society.
And if we are no longer the descendants of that revolution, we will no longer be Americans.
So we MUST unite and settle our differences in order to confront the injustices of the world.
We MUST forget and settle our past conflicts, and look forward unto a new future, of freedom and cooperation.
Procrastination is not an option. Because in order to achieve this unity, we must unite. |
